Recently (Jewish Tribune, Feb. 23 issue) you printed copies of antisemitic cartoons for your readers to look at. Last week you couldn’t print anti-Muslim cartoons because you were being sensitive to their feelings.
As the best Jewish newspaper in Toronto, do you think we Jews have no feelings? Do you not care about our sensitivities? Or do you not have to be sensitive to our feelings because we don’t riot and threaten?
I’m afraid it is the latter. Canadian Muslims have taken away your freedom of speech by their threats of violence and their psychological threat that if you publish the cartoons you will not be ‘Politically correct.’ Too bad! If we do not stand up for and respect ourselves, who will?
