When it comes to treatment of Jewish schools like Catholic boards, I believe that the same old tune will not turn the clock in favour of full funding for Jewish schools.
What is needed here are new ideas, a new approach and new powerful reasons to turn the heads of all political parties.
The NPD is doing something similar with the property tax assessment in Ontario: a new approach to gain power to overturn the Liberals and municipal bureaucrats on…how tax assessment is calculated and whether it is fair to tax people based on speculation (on the value of their homes).
I believe the Jewish school funding issue needs to look outside the box (for a solution).
