Likud, Yisrael Beytenu unite in bid for Knesset
TEL AVIV – Israel’s Likud party has voted in favour of forming an alliance with the Yisrael Beytenu party and running on a shared ticket in the coming Knesset election, according to media reports. “The Likud’s Central Committee on Monday overwhelmingly approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s deal with Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman for the parties to run on a joint list in January’s Knesset elections,” reported the Times of Israel.
