Latest Ahmadinejad rant calls for ‘annihilation of the Zionist regime’

TEHRAN (JNS.org) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad continued his pattern of anti-Israel rants last Thursday in Tehran, telling ambassadors from Muslim countries that “those who love freedom and jusice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime to make the world more just and free.

“For 400 years the revolting Zionist tribe has been controlling the world’s affairs and pulling strings behind the scenes in politics, the media and the financial sphere,” Ahmadinejad said, according to the IRNA news agency.

Ahmadinejad made his speech in advance of Quds Day (Jerusalem Day), an annual anti-Zionist event in Iran. He said Israel’s “plots” in the Middle East have impacted countries including Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Syria and Turkey.

“Quds Day is not just a strategic solution to the Palestinian problem – it is to be viewed as a way for solving the world’s problems,” Ahmadinejad said.
