25 Pro-Assad thugs killed in Aleppo

JERUSALEM – At least 25 members of the ‘shabiha’ group of pro-government thugs, who often operate as hired enforcers for President Bashar al-Assad’s regime, were killed on Friday in Aleppo, likely by opponents of the regime. The opposition claims that this group has carried out many of the massacre in the Syria. The UN recently fingered the shabiha as being responsible for the massacre in Houla.
