Repackaged Ahave products from Israel on The Bay's shelves

TORONTO – Ahava skin care products made with minerals from the Dead Sea are available at several large Bay stores across Canada and online at the Bay’s website.

Last fall, anti-Israel activists were quick to take credit when Avaha products disappeared from The Bay’s shelves, but representatives of the Canadian retailer and Israeli manufacturer assured worried consumers that the line was simply in the process of being rebranded.

Whatever the story, the so-called victory for the boycotters turned out to be false, and the popular Israeli bath and body items returned to the Bay’s shelves in November and its website in December.

Avaha products – 42 of them – in new packaging, including moisturizers, mineral botanic cleansers, mud masks, bath salts and foot creams, are available for purchase at www.thebay.com.
