NCSY, Torah High moving
September 19, 2012 | Jewish Tribune
The administrative staff at NCSY Canada and Torah High are settling in to their new office space on the 4th floor of the Sherman Campus at 4600 Bathurst St.
They moved in the first week of September after spending 14 years at their previous offices at Bathurst and Steeles.
NCSY is the youth movement of the Orthodox Union; NCSY Canada is headquartered in Toronto and has branches in Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Torah High is an accredited Jewish supplementary high school program, which engages more than 400 Jewish students in the GTA every year.
“We are going to miss our old home, but we are thrilled to make a new start at the Sherman Campus, one of the most important hubs of Jewish communal activity in the GTA,” said Rabbi Glenn Black, CEO, NCSY and Torah High. “Our unique approach engages youth from all sectors of the Jewish community. In making this move, we are better positioned to reach out to the broader community.”
