Free Lectures at London JCC


LONDON – JEM (Jewish Educational Manna) will launch a new series of free lectures at the London Jewish Community Centre at the end of the month.

Local and out-of-town speakers will give presentations on a wide variety of topics most Monday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting Sept. 30 and running through to April 7.

Anita Bromberg, national director of legal affairs for B’nai Brith Canada, will speak on Mon., Nov. 25 about The State of Antisemitism in Canada: Where we Stand on the Way to an Inclusive Society. The program is run by a volunteer committee with help from Congregation Or Shalom and Temple Israel. For more information, call Gail Silverman Bass at (519) 472-1773.
