ESCADA’s Resort 2013 line of designer clothing will debut in Canada next month at a fundraiser hosted by Jeanne Beker for Zareinu Educational Centre of Metropolitan Toronto.
The New York-style runway show will also feature Zareinu’s own students modelling the latest outfits from Gap Kids.
Zareinu is a treatment centre for children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy and Down syndrome as well as other neurological and developmental challenges. Funds raised through its fashion show support Zareinu’s services, which include an academic learning centre and treatment facilities in one location.
“We’re thrilled to be working with ESCADA and humbled that this elite global market leader in women’s high-end fashion has chosen to align with Zareinu,” said Stacy Markin, event co-chair. “Their recognition and commitment speaks volumes.
“Additionally, ESCADA and Zareinu share a philosophy of embracing individuality and diversity.”
The ninth annual Zareinu Fashion Show will be held at 7 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 20 at the Bellvue Manor (8083 Jane St.). The evening’s offerings will include desserts and gift bags.
Tickets, at $150 per person, may be purchased by phone at (416) 661-1800 or online at www.zareinu.org.
