WINNIPEG – “I’m very familiar with apartheid,” and “in Israel, it just hasn’t happened,” David Matas, B’nai Brith Canada’s senior legal counsel, declared at a media conference last week concerning Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) on university campuses.

UOFT grad returns degrees because school launched Israeli Apartheid Week PDF Print E-mail

TORONTO – Howard Rotberg, a child of survivors and community activist who rallies against what he terms the “new antisemitism,” returned his degrees to University of Toronto because it is the institution that launched Israeli Apartheid Week in 2005, thus “allowing antisemitism by allowing the demonization, application of double-standards and the delegitimization of the state of Israel.”
